Municipalities and VTH professionals handle a growing volume of permit applications every day — each one requiring careful review against the Omgevingsplan (Environment Plan) and permit-exempt building regulations. Working efficiently without compromising review quality or consistency is essential.

To make that easier, Struck and Centric are joining forces to take digital permit checking within the living environment to the next level.

A direct integration between Centric Leefomgeving and Struck

Struck helps VTH professionals carry out Omgevingsplan checks and Permit-Exempt Checks faster and more consistently. Centric Leefomgeving, meanwhile, supports municipalities in managing and processing applications throughout the VTH workflow. With this new integration, the two systems work as one.

When a user opens an application in Centric Leefomgeving, they can launch Struck directly from that same environment. The address and relevant data are carried over automatically, enabling them to immediately:

  • Run an Omgevingsplan check

  • Start a Permit-Exempt Check

  • Get a first assessment to the case handler faster

No more manual data re-entry — users can stay focused on the actual review.

Fewer steps, more efficiency

In practice, a large part of the review process involves gathering information, switching between systems, and copying data across. By launching Struck directly from Centric Leefomgeving, that friction disappears. The key benefits of this first integration release include:

  • Less manual data entry

  • Faster start to the review process

  • A more efficient workflow within one familiar environment

  • Fewer errors from transferring information between systems

  • More time for substantive assessment of applications

A first step toward the future

This integration is the beginning of a broader development: embedding digital permit checking more deeply into existing VTH processes. The goal is to give professionals increasingly smart tools that fit naturally into their daily work — so that checking becomes faster, simpler, and more consistent by connecting the right information to the right systems.
